The idea of a flipped classroom, is that it is the flipped idea of what a typical classroom is like. Typically, the teachers lecture and the students ocasionally discuss in the classroom. Then, the students go home and do their assigned homework on the topic they have studied. In a flipped classroom, the students are expected to watch lectures online, on their own time before coming into class. In the actual classroom time, the students further their learning of the concepts they are already learned for homework. These activities can include discussions, worksheets, labs, etc. One link that I found that I actually used in my AP Biology class was bozeman science. In Bozeman's videos, he deeply explains different advanced science topics through diagrams and drawings.

Open content is when a company or business who maintains a license to a set of information shares their information to the public free of charge, typically through digital media. By making this information free and public they are giving anyone the right to use for anything they want. Allowing anyone to have access to this information allows educational resources to be stronger as well as many other information sources. Below is the link to google, the biggest open content website worldwide. Thanks to google, people are granted with all kinds of information that they need to each their educational and occupational goals.

I acquired many skills from working on the two different powerpoint assignments. When I become a teacher, making powerpoints will pretty much be the basis of my career. Before taking this class I knew the basics of powerpoint, like how to add content and present them. However, I learned how to make powerpoint quizzes, add animations, add sound, add voiceovers, and so much more. I will be able to use this information all of the time in my teaching career and it will make my life so much easier.

I will use the data collection tools quite frequently when I become a teacher. It will good to use especially as an elementary teacher to get information on what the student's understand and don't so I can know what areas I need to focus more on teaching. Also, it will be helpful to use in the elementary level for surveying kids on what they are interested in, because when a student is interested in something they are more inclined to pay attention and understand a lesson. The experiences I have had with Twitter thus far for this class have been interesting. I have never used twitter before this class so I am just getting used to how it works. It was very easy to get the hang of and I enjoy seeing the things my peers are tweeting. I have mostly been interacting with people who tweet about the assignments they are doing because I am usually doing the same one. It is interesting to see the reasons my classmates think the assignments are beneficial. Another thing I like about using the class twitter is for reading articles people are sharing. A lot of them are really interesting and give me a better understanding of this class. Twitter in general is a really good way to get your message out there. Many famous and important people use twitter daily as a source of communication. My prior experience of technology in the classroom is very strong due to the fact that at my school, Glastonbury High School in Connecticut gives every student received a free iPad. In my classes, my teachers incorporated apps like google classroom, google docs, google slides, google sheets and google drive on a daily basis. Therefore, I have a very good understanding of how those technological tools work. Other apps that were incorporated into my teachers lesson plans were apps like kahoot, turnitin.com, edmodo, evernote, and educreations. These apps were used to do things such as review information, check for plagiarism, allow for online discussion, and voice over power point presentations.
